This specialty coffee, with its vibrant and deeply expressive profile, originates from the majestic Rwenzori Mountains in western Uganda. Grown at elevations between 1,800 and 2,200 meters above sea level, this lot reflects the richness of a unique environment: fertile soils, humid microclimates, and an altitude that promotes slow and complex ripening of the coffee cherries. The result is a coffee with a brilliant and distinctive personality, where nature and human effort come together to create something exceptional.
This lot is a natural-processed coffee, carefully selected from the Rwenzori region, where coffee is primarily produced by smallholder farmers under challenging conditions that are nonetheless full of potential. In this area, coffee is a vital source of livelihood, and each high-quality lot is the result of a collective effort to improve harvesting and processing practices.
Thanks to direct relationships with producers, best practices have been implemented in the harvesting and sorting of lots, making it possible to identify individual coffees with greater precision and improve their quality. This work at the origin results in a cleaner, more consistent, and more expressive cup.
A coffee designed for filter brewing methods, where clarity and sweetness shine through in every sip. As part of the Special Filter category, this lot is crafted to reach its full potential in filter brews, offering a clean, elegant, and refined experience.
Notes of raisins, dulce de leche, and chocolate, accompanied by vibrant citrus acidity and a silky body that envelops the palate. The result is a balanced and complex cup, where natural sweetness combines with a velvety texture and bright acidity, creating a harmonious and highly enjoyable experience.
