This coffee originates in Uganda and is the result of the work of The Coffee Gardens, a project founded in 2017 with the mission of producing exceptional specialty coffees in an ethical and transparent manner, creating a direct link between producers and consumers. From the very beginning, its work has focused on improving coffee farmers’ incomes, creating rural jobs, promoting equality, protecting the environment, and training coffee farmers.
Our collaboration with Falcon Coffees began in 2019. It has now expanded to include a new partnership with The Coffee Yard and Norman Mukuru, Producer , whose track record is marked by innovation, dedication, and a deep commitment to quality.
This batch was processed using the dry fermentation method. After the cherries were pulped, the beans remained in waterless tanks for 40 hours, allowing microorganisms to naturally break down the mucilage coating them. They are then washed with cold spring water, carefully dried on African drying beds, and sorted through 12 different stages before export.
