Colombia – Cata Reserva
Cata Reserva It stems from the vision of Catalina, the founder and heart of the project, and her partner Pierre, who work side by side on their farm, passionately cultivating exceptional varieties and exploring new fermentation and processing techniques. For them, each batch is an opportunity to experiment and discover unique flavor profiles that highlight the richness of Colombian coffee.
Through Cata Export, their export company, they bring these farm-to-cup coffees to consumers around the world, connecting the hard work behind each harvest with consumers who value quality, transparency, and traceability. Every coffee from Cata Reserva reflects not only its origin but also Catalina and Pierre’s dedication, their constant curiosity, and their passion for innovation in specialty coffee.
Origin and Care
At their farm, located in Timaná, Huila, Colombia, they work with Caturra and Castillo varieties, manually selecting the ripe beans and applying techniques that combine tradition and experimentation. Every stage, from planting to drying, is carefully monitored to ensure that the natural sweetness and character of the “ Variety ” remain intact.
